1. Who We Are

Peazi is a real-time location-sharing service provided by P. Allen ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at peazi@pallen.co.uk.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Location data — your precise GPS coordinates while the app is active and you have sharing enabled.
• Account details — a display name (alias) and, optionally, an email address used only for account recovery.
• Avatar — a customisable SVG avatar you create within the app.
• Usage data — standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, HTTP request) retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To show your location to the groups you have joined.
• To store and display your profile (alias, trail colour, avatar) to other members of your groups.
• To send account-recovery information if you request it via your registered email address.
• To investigate technical issues and maintain service security.

4. Location Data

Location data is transmitted to our servers only while the app is open and you have location sharing active. Your precise location is visible only to members of groups you have explicitly joined. We do not sell, license, or share location data with third parties.

Historic location data (trails) is retained on-device. Server-side location records are used transiently to relay positions to group members and are not stored long-term.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With members of groups you have joined, to the extent necessary to provide the location-sharing feature.
• When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

6. Data Retention

Your account and profile data are retained until you delete your account. Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at peazi@pallen.co.uk.

7. Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Access to your profile and location requires your unique account identifier. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at peazi@pallen.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Peazi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
